When you use our Client Portal, we collect login information (email address) and associate it with your company account to provide access to your shipment data, documents, and quotes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our freight forwarding services, process your shipment requests and quotes, send you tracking notifications and status updates, communicate with you about your shipments and account, send newsletters and industry updates (with your consent), and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Shipment Tracking & Notifications

When you subscribe to tracking notifications for a shipment, your email address is stored to send you automatic status updates. You can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time by contacting us at shipping@asrwe.com.

Shipment tracking information displayed on our public tracking page is limited to status, origin, destination, and estimated dates. Detailed shipment information is only accessible through the authenticated Client Portal.

4. Client Portal

The Client Portal uses secure magic link authentication provided by Supabase. We do not store passwords. Each login generates a unique, time-limited link sent to your registered email address.

Portal users can only access shipment data, documents, and quotes associated with their company account. Access is controlled by your company administrator and ASR WorldWide Express.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Our website uses essential cookies for theme preferences (light/dark mode). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes SSL encryption for all data transmission, secure authentication for the Client Portal, and access controls for shipment data.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our business: Google Analytics (website analytics), Supabase (Client Portal authentication and database), Google Sheets API (shipment tracking data), Google Drive (document storage), MailerLite (newsletter), Web3Forms (contact forms), and Cloudflare (hosting and security).

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Shipment records are retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with customs and trade regulations.
